Explainer Videos Video Templates
Step-by-step tutorials and how-to explainers where the explanation happens on the footage itself: text callouts, arrows, circles and boxes, freehand marker loops, sticky notes, checkmarks and warnings, each timed to its step, in clean widescreen and hand-drawn vertical styles. Replace the clips with your own process and move the marks onto your targets.

About Explainer Videos video templates
Explainer video templates show how something works by annotating the footage itself: text callouts, arrows, circles and boxes, freehand marker loops, sticky notes, checkmarks and warnings, each timed to its step. They suit product how-tos, device setup guides, support walkthroughs and training clips.
Current designs include a clean widescreen camera setup tutorial with cyan pointers and yellow highlights, and a hand-drawn vertical espresso how-to with sticky notes and orange marker loops inside the Reels safe zones. More explainer layouts for software, processes and services are planned. Use 16:9 for YouTube, a help centre or a course, and 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
In the Deus Video editor, replace the clips with your own screen or camera recording, rewrite the callouts, move the shapes and drawings onto your targets and adjust each annotation's start and end so it appears exactly when the step needs it. Keep one instruction per callout and fade it out before the next cut.
