About YouTube Videos video templates

YouTube video templates are widescreen 16:9 designs for the parts of a longer video that repeat on every upload: the opener, the agenda, the chapter dividers, the name strips over an interview, the step tracker in a tutorial, the player card for a podcast, the trailer on the channel page and the end screen that sends viewers to the next video. Each layout has fixed places for the channel name, the episode number, the guest, the figures and the call to action, so the same template can be re-texted every week.

The designs follow the conventions viewers already read: a badge at the top left for the series or the episode, an accent bar and a plate that slide in with a name, chapter cards that slam in and slide away, agenda rows that tick, a rail or a pager that marks progress, counters for the subscribers, the step, the minutes or the kilometres, a spectrum that follows the track, and two framed cards with a subscribe button that hold still where YouTube places its end-screen elements. Copy keeps clear of the player bar at the foot.

In the Deus Video editor, rename the channel and the guests, rewrite the agenda, the chapters and the steps, set the counters to your own figures and replace the clips with your own footage; the strips, cards and chips follow the scene cuts, so the timing holds whatever you film.
