About this template

How-to video template in a 4:5 portrait format for the Instagram and Facebook feed, where the explanation is drawn straight onto the footage. Fifteen seconds on a clean guitar loop follow a pour-over: grinding, rinsing the filter, the bloom and the slow pour.

Each scene gets a numbered step tag, the step in a marker-pen face, a hand-drawn orange loop around the thing that matters and a leader line to a short note. A tilted sticky note in the corner carries the quantity of the step — grams of coffee, water temperature, first pour, total water — each counting to its value, and a brew timer runs along the bottom with a progress bar. A save-the-recipe button appears at the end. Slow Pour is a fictional guide.

Replace the clips with your own process, move the loops and notes onto your targets, set the four quantities and the time, and turn any recipe or set-up into a guide people can follow.
