About this template
Surprise party template with a countdown, in a 5:4 landscape format that fits the Facebook and Instagram feed and looks good on a screen at the venue. Fifteen seconds of party footage cut hard on a funk groove: friends waiting on the sofa, glasses raised, a cake arriving under confetti, a confetti cannon and a cheer under the garlands. Sam and the party are fictional.
The first six seconds are the hush: a dark tint, a lime ring that closes like a timer, the numbers three, two, one and two whispered lines in chunky capitals. On the sixth second the screen flashes, a tilted lime block with the word "surprise" slams in and sixteen confetti pieces fly out from the centre, followed by the birthday wish and a teasing second line. The last scene gives the party details and a pink button asking friends to tag the birthday person.
Replace the clips with your own, change the name, the whispered lines and the venue, and post the reveal right after the party or send it as the secret invitation.
