About this template
A 16:9 tutorial template that explains a process in four six-second steps, entirely with annotations placed on the footage. The sample walks through a quick camera setup: a circle and a leader line point at the mode dial, a yellow box and arrow mark the front dial, a red cross warns off the record button, a speech bubble and checkmark confirm the focus switch, and a final rectangle highlights the exposure values before a green tick and a "ready to shoot" callout close the video. No brands or personal data appear, and the footage is stock.
Every annotation has its own start and end, so it appears exactly when the step needs it and fades out before the cut. A "step n of 4" pill, a thin progress bar along the top edge and a quiet guitar loop tie the 24 seconds together. Cyan pointers, yellow highlights and white callouts keep the look clean and readable at any size.
Replace the clips with your own screen or camera recording, rewrite the callouts, move the shapes and freehand marks onto your targets, and export a how-to video for YouTube, a help centre or an onboarding course.
