About this template

Thesis defense video template in widescreen 16:9 for a research presentation, a conference poster screen or a department website. Fifteen seconds on an orchestral waltz summarise a study in four parts — research question, method, findings and conclusion — beside footage of a library, a laboratory, a whiteboard and a lecture hall.

The slide is academic: navy, ivory and gold with a classic serif. Each part opens with a Roman numeral, the section name and a two-line statement. The evidence follows underneath: the candidate and supervisor, three counters for the sample, a four-bar chart that grows with its values and a significance tag, and a closing line with a thank-you. The footage sits in a gold frame with a figure caption, and four tabs along the bottom carry a marker that moves with the sections. The university, the study and the names are fictional.

Replace the clips, rewrite the four statements, set the sample figures and the bars, and present your research in the time it takes to read an abstract.
