About this template
Fabric story video template in a square 1:1 format for the Instagram feed and product pages, made for brands that show what their clothes are made of. Fifteen seconds cut on a light instrumental follow a garment back to its source: soft white fibres on the plant, a close-up of knitted cloth, a needle running through fabric at the sewing machine and the finished material.
Each scene carries one statement in a dark green box over the footage, from the field to years of wear, with the product name and a batch number on small pills at the top. Below, an oat-coloured panel holds a composition bar. Its three segments grow one after another, dark green, moss and clay, and each gets its percentage in bold with the fibre in a mono font under it. Three outlined chips give care advice, then give way to a clay button, and a thin green line tracks progress. Common Thread is a fictional brand, and the percentages are placeholders.
Replace the clips with your own supply chain footage, enter the real composition of your fabric, edit the care chips and statements, and make the label on the inside visible on the outside.
