About this template
Word of the year template in a vertical 9:16 format for Reels, Stories and TikTok. Twelve seconds of a woman at a window with coffee, a red notebook and a confident walk under a plum tint with dissolves between the clips.
The design is a reveal: a spaced kicker, an italic lead line, three candidate words in an italic serif where a lavender line strikes one through on each of the first two scenes, a pulsing question mark that gives way to the chosen word spinning in with a slot-machine effect and a ring burst on the last scene, a small kicker under it, a bouncing speech-bubble emoji and a typed what's-yours line.
Rewrite the three candidates and the chosen word, rewrite the lead and the closing line, recolour the lavender and the plum and swap the three clips for your own footage.
