Craft tutorial video template in a 2:3 portrait format for Pinterest, the Instagram feed and a craft blog. Fifteen seconds on lo-fi guitar chords follow a candle from wax to wick: flakes weighed out, fragrance poured, jars setting and the finished candles on a wooden board.
The footage fills the upper part of the frame with the step on a tag, above a cream panel in amber and sage. A light serif title names the project and one line gives the instruction of each scene. The centrepiece is a wax thermometer: a bar that shortens and shifts from hot orange through amber to sage as the temperature counts from one step to the next. Three quantities count up below — wax, fragrance oil and curing time — with a line on what the batch makes, and a dark button links to the shopping list. Wick & Wax is a fictional guide.
