About this template
New Year countdown recap template in a vertical 9:16 format for Reels, TikTok and Stories. Fourteen seconds of concert and fireworks footage with a gold flash on every cut, a magenta wash that kicks with the bass and a lower shade for the copy.
The design is a countdown to midnight: a glowing GOODBYE year and a HELLO year counter that ticks over, a 10 → 0 countdown counter in a tall face over the last seconds, one highlight line per scene, a spectrum that follows the music, confetti that falls and a happy-new-year label that pops at zero.
Change the years and the highlights, load your own track and swap the three clips for your own party footage; the countdown runs over the last scene and the label pops when it reaches zero.
