About this template
Release notes video template in widescreen 16:9 for YouTube, a changelog page, a product blog or a post for developers. Fifteen seconds on a lo-fi melody cut between code on two screens, a close-up of syntax, hands on a laptop and a desk lit in blue, all under a dark tint.
The design is a terminal. A window with three coloured dots types a version command, prints the version in amber and then adds one changelog line per scene, each written character by character with a typewriter effect in a monospace face. On the right the version number stands in large type above two tiles: the cold build time counts down to its new value and the number of fixed bugs counts up. A green line along the bottom of the window tracks the clip, and a button for reading the full changelog closes it. Lumen is a fictional command line tool.
Replace the clips with your own screen recordings, set the version, rewrite the four lines and the two metrics, and ship every release with a video people actually watch.
