Father's Day tribute template in a widescreen 16:9 format for YouTube, Facebook and the family TV. Eighteen seconds of a first bike ride, a grandfather and grandson casting a line, a father and daughter under the bonnet of an old car and a walk through the park under a sepia tint with letterbox bars, a vignette and slow dissolves.
The design is a short film: a spaced kicker, Things my father taught me in an italic garamond whose words rise one after another over the first scene, then a No. 1 → 4 counter and one lesson per scene typed out letter by letter on the lower third with a gold rule that grows beneath it, and a closing Happy Father's Day, Dad.
Type your own four lessons, rename the closing line and swap the four clips for your own family footage; the lessons follow the scene cuts and the typing runs at the same pace whatever you write.
