About this template
First day of school reel template in a vertical 9:16 format for Reels, TikTok and the family chat. Fifteen seconds of the walk to school, the hallway, the lockers and the classroom under shaded top and bottom, with a cream flash on every cut.
The design is a bright first-day card: a dated kicker, a DAY ONE title in a chunky display face with a navy drop shadow, a grade-and-room pill, the date in handwriting, one handwritten caption per scene, a school-name label and a pencil and a backpack that swing and bounce in the lower corners.
Change the year, the grade, the room and the date, type your own four captions, rename the school and swap the four clips for your own first-day footage; the captions follow the scene cuts.
