About this template
Recipe video template in a vertical 9:16 format for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Shorts, laid out like a page from a handwritten notebook. Fifteen seconds cut on an upbeat acoustic guitar follow one dish in four steps: cherry tomatoes blistering in a pan, pasta lifted from the pot, sauce poured over the noodles and the finished plate.
The name of the dish opens the clip on two strips of yellow tape. A paper card with ruled lines then carries the recipe: a step counter, the instruction in bold handwriting and, under a red rule, a list of four ingredients with empty boxes. A green tick pops into each box as the ingredient goes into the pan. A red pill at the top gives the cooking time and servings, a progress bar runs above it, and a save button appears in the last scene. All copy stays inside the Reels safe zones. Nonna Notes is a fictional creator.
Replace the clips with your own cooking footage, rewrite the four steps and the ingredient list, change the time and servings, and publish a recipe that viewers can follow with the sound off.
